On the afternoon of May 29th, Mr XianglunHuang, Executive Deputy Director of Xiamen Working Committee on Caring for the Next Generation, and Mr.Huifan  Yang , Deputy Secretary General, visited Xiamen Olympic museum for inspection and guidance, accompanied by Ms. Yun Wu, deputy curator of XOM.

The executive deputy director expressed his concern and support for the future work of the museum and gave relevant suggestions and opinions on the future work.

Ms. Yun Wu said: "Thanks so much for Xiamen Working Committee on Caring for the Next Generation's long-term care and support for Xiamen Olympic museum. As the Olympic education base of Xiamen Working Committee on Caring for the Next Generation, XOM will make more efforts to exert the social functions of museum and to promote the Olympic spirit to the youth ."

Xiamen Olympic museum, as the Olympic education base awarded by Xiamen Working Committee on Caring for the Next Generation, is also one of the top ten excellent informalized science popularization education bases in China, the national science popularization education base, Fujian science popularization education base and Xiamen science popularization education base. XOM has been focusing on the youth growth for long-term ,  committing to the spread of youth Olympic culture and physical culture.   Activities has been held each year, including Migrant Workers Children's Summer Camp, Children's Olympic Trip of Xiamen Children's Welfare Home , Cross-Strait Sign Language Summer Camp, Xiamen Special School Students' Healthy Walk, Bring Olympic Culture into the Schools, "Awakening Cultural Heritage" Popular Science Community and so on. Therefore more people can contact with the Olympics, learn the Olympic culture and grasp the Olympic spirit.

It is hoped that under the care and support of  Xiamen Working Committee on Caring for the Next Generation and all leaders, Xiamen Olympic museum can do better and better in the work for teenagers.
