Today, the 2019 Fujian Cross-Strait Youth Rope Skipping Open Championships Series Activities was officially launched in Xiamen Olympic museum. This activity is guided by the National Rope Skipping Promotion Center and Fujian Fitness Leading Group, hosted by Fujian Rope Skipping Association and Xiamen Olympic museum, undertaken by Xiamen International Book Company, Fujian Jiansheng Sports Co., ltd., Xiamen Lvdong Sports Industry Co., ltd.  

This activity mainly included individual competition, team competition, cross-straits sports cultural exchange, Olympic cultural experience trip, rope skipping carnival and other series of activities. Today, a cross-strait sports and cultural exchange linked by rope skipping kicked off in

Xiamen Olympic museum. The organizers hoped to popularize Olympic culture and strengthen cross-strait cultural exchanges through the sports cultural exchange activities. Meanwhile, efforts was made to promote the better integration of individual sports events and the Olympics, and promote the spread of the concept of national fitness.

At the beginning of the event, under the guidance of the staff, the athletes and parents lined up, simulated the Olympic ignition ceremony. They were like the athletes who were about to represent their country to participate in the international competition of rope skipping, waving the Five-Starred Red Flag and carefully escorting the Olympic five-ring flag in front of the team. The small torchbearers proudly hold the torch in their hands,walking dowm slowly along the gyroidal railing stairway and lighting the flame in the museum hall, to wish the consummation of today's event.

After the lighting ceremony, the cross-strait rope skipping development forum was officially opened in conference hall of Xiamen Olympic museum. At the exchange meeting, athletes, coaches and teachers from both sides of the straits shared their own experience in rope skipping training, rope skipping competition, fancy rope skipping choreography and other aspects. The representatives of the parents were also invited to share their experiences in supporting and  training their children for rope skipping .

Parents, coaches and contestants shared experience on the stage.

Teachers and principals from two schools of mainland China and Taiwan shared their experience and thoughts on the construction of rope skipping teams, cross-strait sports and cultural exchanges. They said, "We are very glad to be with you in Xiamen Olympic museum, sharing  ideas and competing. The two sides of the straits are originally a family. Through communication in this way, we hope can increase the mutual understanding and affection.

After the exchange, all people gathered in front of the Heaven Jade from Yangtze river, the guarding treasure of XOM, to carry out the cross strait promotion ambassador awarding ceremony. Ms. Yun Wu, deputy curator of our museum, awarded certificates to 16 promotion ambassadors, awarding them the honor of promoting the rope skipping event. After the awarding ceremony , it’s announced that the Guinness challenge was officially launched.

In the lecture hall of the museum, awards were given to the athletes who won places in the individual rope skipping competition yesterday. Every child’s sweat in sports were recognized at this moment. No matter whether they were awarded, the spirit of loving sports were the best. We hoped they could also take this persistence in the road of their future life.

After the noon rest, at 4:30 PM, the little athletes began to attend the national  rope skipping public grade examination. Under the guidance of the coachs, they were divided into groups for grading tests, and achieved good results with steady performance.

In the Afternoon, in front of the Olympic museum,  the rope skipping athletes from mainland and Taiwan started a rope skipping carnival. They exchanged skills,  guided each other the main technical point, shared experiences of choreography.

Students from both sides of the straits completed the fancy rope skipping together.

The activities, taking the museum as the cultural carrier, the rope  skipping as the link, used a rope to connect the hearts of the two sides. The two sides of the straits were closely connected and share the same feelings. It was hoped that through the activity , the cultural exchange and the friendship could be enhanced.
