On September 28^th, 2014, Mr.Shijian Pan, vice president of Xiamen Municipal CPPCC accompanied with Mr.Yubao Wang, vice president of Putian Municipal CPPCC inspected XOM. Ms. Wu Yun, the deputy curator, showed them around in person. Under the guidance of Ms.Wu Yun, Mr. Yubao Wang visited the four main exhibition halls and the temporary theme exhibition. After visiting, Mr. Yubao Wang showed his admiration to Dr. Ching-kuo Wu. It is Dr. Ching-kuo Wu who built the first Olympic museum inxiamenand made great contribution to the communication of Mainland andTaiwansport culture. During the visiting, Mr.Shijian Pan also passionately introduced Mr. Yubao Wang about the story between Mr. chingkuo wu andXiamen. He repeatedly praised Dr. Ching-kuo Wu’s contribution toXiamencultural undertakings of physical culture and sports. This time the leaders includes Guoqing Huang, culture, education, health and sport director of Putian Municipal CPPCC, Qiushui Chen, Putian urban and rural planning bureau deputy director, Guopeng You, curator of Putian. They asked museum management operating condition in detail and admired the achievements and honors that XOM has got since it opened. They also said it is a very successful example of public-run museums. They advocated citizens, especially young students ,to the museum to experience and accept edification of The Olympic culture and spirit.
