On the afternoon of 13 May 2025, the introduction meeting for the Olympic Day 2026 “Let’s Move” campaign was convened online, with the participation of Xiamen Olympic Museum. The meeting was chaired by Ms Marta Telles from the International Olympic Committee’s Digital Engagement and Marketing Department.
The meeting focused primarily on the 2026 “Let’s Move” global initiative, presenting the overall campaign strategy, annual creative concept, communication approach, and implementation plan. The initiative aims to promote the Olympic spirit and encourage people around the world to embrace physical activity and healthy lifestyles through sport.
Launched in 2022, the “Let’s Move” initiative is jointly promoted by the International Olympic Committee and the World Health Organization. The campaign seeks to address the global issue of insufficient physical activity, particularly among young people, by leveraging the influence of the Olympic Movement to inspire greater participation in sport, build self-confidence, and enhance both physical and mental well-being. This year’s campaign will be rolled out around three major milestones: Olympic Day (May–September), World Mental Health Day (October), and the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games (November).
On 23 June, Xiamen Olympic Museum will launch a series of engaging and diverse activities to further promote the Olympic spirit, disseminate Olympic values, and celebrate Olympic culture, inspiring more people to participate actively in sports and embrace a healthy lifestyle.
