On the afternoon of May 20, 2026, a group led by Mr. He Guicai, Deputy Secretary-General of the Municipal Government and Director of the General Office of Lianyungang Municipal People's Government, visited the Xiamen Olympic Museum. They were warmly received by Ms. Wu Yun, Deputy Director of the Museum, and her staff.

The Xiamen Olympic Museum was conceived over many years, personally designed, and founded by Mr. Wu Ching-Kuo, Director of the Museum. Regarding its architectural style, the museum's straightforward and concise design, its rich and informative exhibitions, and its engaging interactive experience programs not only enable ordinary citizens to gain a clearer understanding of the history and stories behind the Olympic Games, but also enhance their sense of participation through fun sports activities, while further raising public awareness of the value of physical activity and health.

The guests successively visited the "Never Stop" plaque, the boxing sculpture, etc. Then they entered the four exhibition halls of the museum, including the main exhibition halls such as "The Past, Present and Future of the Olympics", "The Olympic Family", "Treasures and Sharing". During the visit, the guests also learned about many aspects of the history of the Olympics, the figures and major events through closely observing the precious collections such as Olympic relics, pictures and texts.

The mission of our museum is to promote Olympic culture and showcase the history and precious artifacts of the Olympics to the public. It aims to enable the public to learn more about Olympic information and knowledge, and to get closer to the Olympics. It also seeks to help people experience the healthy life philosophy of 'Faster, Higher, Stronger, Together'—which encourages self-transcendence and a proactive spirit—and to embrace the values of participation, fairness, and peace.
