The second Mid-Autumn Cultural&Creative Products Fair which was given a traditional Chinese name as “Bight Moon and Gentle Breeze” was guided by the Administrative committee of Xiamen Gulangyu-Wanshishan Scenic Area, hosted by Gulangyu Branch of The Palace Museum and Xiamen Ferry Co., Ltd., co-organized by Xiamen Sanshe Daifeng Culture Communication Co., Ltd. And Xiamen Olympic Museum.

  The activities included products sales of two days, one performance and four experiential activities in which Xiamen Olympic Museum participated in with rich cultural and creative products.

  Arrow-Casting Game

  In the interactive game of Arrow-Casting which Xiamen Olympic Museum introduced in this event. Everyone could experience the ancient sport on the poetic gulangyu island as our ancestors and the winner could get the exquisite gifts.

The game had enjoyed an immense popularity ever since the beginning, Flocks of tourists gathered in front of XOM booth to know about the rules and try the game.

  The air is filled with joy and happiness. People tried their chances and shared experience in the game, which also requires accurate casting and steady mind, just as what the Olympic Spirit reminds ”Not to become dizzy with success, nor be discouraged by failure”.

  To cater to the needs of people, Xiamen Olympic Museum brought several portable and practical cultural crafts of high quality from thousands of cultural products through repeated selection. Some of them are listed as below.

1. Yan ruyu travel tea sets

  Yan ruyu travel tea sets are made up of white porcelain set and green porcelain set. The designer combines the traditional arts and crafts of Fujian with the concept of XOM. Fujian is n province famous for its tea culture, but also for dehua white porcelain, whose color is warm and moist as jade. That is where the inspiration of the designer comes from.

2. Olympic Rings sports bracelets

  The bracelet originated from basketball culture in Western, and its original function was to identify teammates in street basketball games and to put pressure on the wrist, which makes the muscles tight. Nowadays, wearing bracelets is mainly for the worship of their idols or for the fancy of a certain place, or for learning NBA culture. The most important is that the bracelet is a kind of decoration on the court, which will not be subject to the interference while falling or shooting.

3. Key Chains of Love Sports& Love Family

  The sport style key chain are in a perfect match with Xiamen Olympic Museum. XOM developed key chains with four sports series, which include table tennis key chains, football key chains, badminton key chains and golf key chains.

4. Collections of Olympics

  With the introduction of cultural and creative products by the staff of Xiamen Olympic Museum, the tourists selected their favorite cultural and creative products and brought them back home as permanent memorial and collection.
