On October 8th , 2014, vice president of Xiamen Municipal CPPCC Shijian Pan, Zhigong Party Xiamen Municipal Party Committee chairman Pingdong Xu and vice president Xinhong Zheng inspected XOM.

Under the guidance of XOM deputy curator Ms.Wu Yun, Mr.Shijian Pan and Mr. Pingdong Xu was so surprised that Dr. Ching-kuo Wu owns such rich Olympic collections and gave a good appraisal for unique museum exhibition. Mr.Shijian Pan said, “protecting and making good use of the historical and cultural heritage of the Olympic Games can deepen the public's understanding about history and culture of the Olympic Games, better carry forward the Olympic spirit and further promote the development of the Olympic movement.” He also hopes strengthen the museum management, security work, further enrich the collections and hold more special exhibition about the subject of sports, give full play to the unique advantages of the Olympic museum, make the the Olympic museum into the Olympic cultural inheritance and development new luminescent spot.
