Summer Camps Visited the Museum

This month is quite important for teenager students for it’s their summer vacation to participate in extracurricular activities and social practice.

Today, several summer camps from Huzhou(Zhejiang), Jiaxing(Zhejiang), Luohe(Hebei),Xiamen(Fujian) as well as special school students with hearing impediments fromTaiwanandXiamenpaid their visits to the museum. although coming from different cities, they gathered together here out of the same purpose, that is, experiencing the Olympics. A visit to the museum brought them Olympic excitement and joy, which includes watching a Olympic movie, boxing on a simulated boxing ring, playing 4D online game, experiencing the excitement on the podium as well as signing in support of Beijing’s bid. Time is limited while experience here is ever lasting and profound.

As one of domestic bases for scientific promotion and education, the museum highlights the significance of students’ social practice and activities in their summer camps. Thus, we have prepared a variety of featured Olympic exhibits for students each summer vacation in an aim of strengthening their knowledge about the Olympics, its culture, Olympism and Olympic values into practice. Through the previous exhibitions, we are pleased to see pleasing results in social effects and be favoured by the public.
